Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Recruitment Consultant to join our team who can help drive the acquisition of new customers, deliver exceptional customer outcomes and create an outstanding candidate/contractor experience. The successful candidate will leverage their comprehensive knowledge of IT recruitment to drive success in a 360-degree recruitment role.

The Consultant will receive significant support to allow them to succeed including mentoring from the Managing Directors, personalised marketing materials to support their business development activities (collaborate with our marketing specialists to design collateral that will drive results) and a range of technology and tools to maximise your effectiveness and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through a range of business development and marketing activities.

Develop strong relationships with clients with a focus on maximising share of wallet whilst delivering exceptional value.

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial client engagement to candidate placement.

Source candidates through a range of advertising (Seek, LinkedIn), database search (350,000 candidates), head hunting (LinkedIn Recruiter licence) and referrals ($1000 referral fee)

Conduct thorough candidate screening against a job brief to assess alignment with role

Stay updated on industry trends and market developments to inform recruitment strategies and client consultations.

Act in a professional and ethical manner including exhibiting behaviour that always aligns with Balance values.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an agency Recruitment Consultant, with a focus on IT recruitment.

A proven track record of achieving goals and delivering to target.

Strong business development skills, with a track record of successfully winning new clients and growing existing accounts.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.

Self-motivated and results-driven, with a real hunger for success and achievement.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
