This is an excellent opportunity for an Application Support Analyst to join a well regarded industrial storage rechnology company which support a variety of Australian industries, from automotive, retail, 3PL, FMCG, healthcare, apparel and so on, in keeping their warehouses functioning and meeting all logistics challenges. 

The Application Support Analyst position is responsible for providing cost effective and superior quality services for the installed customer base, by performing highly diversified duties to manage, troubleshoot, and maintain the efficient operation of the system modules as supplied and installed onsite.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support for the installed systems and all of their installed components.
  • Provide a timely response to support issues (including breakdowns) logged by customers to the helpdesk.
  •  Ensure constant communication and updates are provided to the customer of the status of the issue reported/currently being addressed.
  • Conduct prompt logging and tracking of all support issues, and ensure events are updated as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot reported issues, and source appropriate resources for assistance or technician for site attendance as deemed necessary.
  • Coordinate site visits by sub-contractors or other members of the business as required.
  • Undertake regular preventative maintenance and monitoring eg Health Check.
  • Manage and conduct spare parts tracking and re-ordering.
  • Assist in customer billing process.
  • Escalation of critical support issues to management.
  • Take part in providing after hours support based on rotating roster.
  • Customer Management.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

Qualifications

  • Education in a relevant discipline
  • Personal computing experience
  • Previous experience in a similar role/industry with exposure to Linux OS and RDBMS

  • Solid relationship building skills with strong customer service orientation
