Our client owns and operates a critical infrastructure in the transport sector.

Based on the fringe of the Sydney’s CBD, they operate a dynamic, complex and fast paced environment  to deliver a world class customer experience.

 The  (Senior) Network Engineer will be part of an established team  delivering projects (and some operations) around routing, switching, firewalls, load balancers, wireless, etc.

Key Accountabilities will include:

• Ensuring work requests are documented and managed effectively according to governance frameworks
• Leading by example attitude
• Technical proficiency in core networking – IT and OT ideally
• Actively develop and lead network improvements, network design
• Strong analytical skills
• Build relations with Vendors, Service providers and internal stakeholders

You will bring to this role:

• Extensive experience in a (senior)  Network Engineer role for a corporate environments, core networks
• CCNP min certification 
• Experience with network upgrades
• Experience in ITIL and change management
• Experience IT and OT
• Experience in security related projects
• Experience in Wi-Fi refresh would be ideal
• Experience with Data Centre Network Technology

This will be an initial 3 – 6 months contract and will require you to be on-site. Free parking can be arranged.
