My client, a well regarded Australia organisation, is now looking for an IT Project Coordinator on 3-month part-time (Mon, Wed, Fri) role to join its IT team in rolling out Application upgrade projects.

Responsibilities:

The Project Coordinator will report to the IT Manager, and be responsible for:

  • Streamlining project planning and management of everyday tasks
  • Managing the planning (including change management) for both major and minor releases.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to track the progress of tasks, highlighting risks, and planning the pipeline of future work (in consultation with the Manager).
  • Monitor and control activities by identifying the potential risks and issues in the project and escalating to proper channels.
  • Tracking project against scope, schedule, costs and Planned releases
  • Assisting with roadmap planning and cross-functional consultation and communications.
  • Assisting with the development of our project prioritisation process.
  • Raising scope/timeframe and budget concerns and facilitating ways to mitigate them so that we can meet the priority goals of the roadmap and funding commitments.

 Essential

  • Minimum of 2 years project coordinator experience.
  • Experience working in Waterfall & Agile projects especially with vendor project teams.
  • Comfortable working in a highly collaborative way.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. 
  • Needs to build and maintain great relationships with key internal & external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
