Key Responsibilities

Understand business processes and how the applications support the business operations and apply this knowledge to solve problems best

• Understand configuration dependencies and interrelationships between different applications and designs and troubleshoots in the area with this knowledge
• Assist with the management of a small team 
• User requirements gathering, developing functional specifications and working with technical team members to complete development and testing.
• Understand business needs and processes, and anticipate, drive, and facilitate the design of processes to ensure that a timely and effective solution is provided
• Support all phases of a project life cycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of solutions, as well as documentation, and end-user training
• Monitor and manage the resolution of systems integration errors
• Maintain a professional relationship with our application support vendors to deliver quality solutions in agreed timeframes

Minimum requirements 

• Proven experience in providing systems support and direct contact with users and external support vendors to solve issues with business applications
• Five years of support experience covering SAP MM, PM, SD and WM modules
• Excellent communications skills -- both written and verbal, and the ability to present difficult concepts in understandable terms to all levels of the organization
• Able to operate independently within guidelines to manage own work and the work of a small group
• A can-do attitude and hunger to learn
• Good time management skills and ability to work under pressure
• Multitasking and super quick learner
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to conceptualise and think creatively
